Every hundred years strange phenomenons happen



Planets align in their orbit, making what was once visible as many in the night sky become one to those that observe them



They have become omens of both good fortune as well as messengers of change and destruction, bringing the downfall of civilizations and even mass extinction of all living things

We all know that there is and should be preparations to be made for any event



Selecting and preparing the animal to be butchered, setting up the crowd to meet in a specific location at a specific time, dressing up the priests and selecting the knifes that are going to used



But one never knows if the ceremony will go well and both the crowds and the gods will be indeed appeased



If that doesn't happen, everything will end with the world turned to dust

No god can hope for such an imperfect being to be able to create anything worthy of divine perfection



What is expected is that the intentions and the faith of those that sacrifice everything for change to happen is strong enough to overcome whatever the gods throw at them, be it a planet alignment, a comet or a mere session

Layers

People are like onions



They grow in the land from a small bulb



And as time passes by, the layers grow in size and number



The outer shell is the most rigid, the most rugged, the most touched and the most insensitive to being touched




To be able to be used, one has to open it, starting with the first layer



After it is removed, the next layers are softer, more mellow, that bring tears to the eyes as you shed them



And as those layers are taken, the onion ceases to be so big and unmanageable, becoming easier to grasp and handle

The bad thing, if you consider it as such, is that the onion will not return to its original shape if you stick them together

From time to time, I scour amongst those that call themselves slaves or that seem to enjoy being bound, in body or in mind

There are restrictions that apply due to your normal life that I can accept ( the shaving part is usually the most frequent complain), but as for the rest I consider most of them mandatory

Three things are needed if you are to come


a) you have to physically be what I want (requirements list)

c) show me that you are a man and not an animal, with good table manners, intelligent enough to know what you are doing, why you are doing it and with an open mind to events and possibilities


Another restriction is, if you are owned, your Master has to solicit me first before applying

B: As I said before, if you already serve a Master, he has to ask me


If he has a given name, such as John, Mary or Joseph for instance, he can address me
